The KD chair was born of a Letterform seat assignment in my Furniture Design Studio in graduate school. The task was to design a chair using the initials of our first and last names. Through this assignment it was imperative to think critically not only of the chairs design but also its construction.  During this process I was able to add the last two of my name's four initials.
